We are the Parish school of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Studley. Father Benedict Thompson, OSB became our Parish Priest in September 2010. Father Benedict visits school on a regular basis - he often attends special assemblies and celebrations. He supports all our pupils receiving their Holy Sacraments – Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation. He says Mass in school regularly to which the whole school attends, and parents and parishioners are invited.
Catholic education is based on an active partnership of family, school and parish. Families are encouraged to attend Mass and receive the sacraments regularly. Liturgy of the Word for children forms part of the 10.30 am Sunday Mass. Parents from the school community are involved in preparing these liturgies. Our pupils are greatly supported by local parishioners particularly during their sacramental preparation and offer their support and prayers by becoming dedicated Prayer Partners.
