We have a friendly and professional Governing Body that compliments the friendliness and expertise of St. Mary's staff.
Our ethos, as guardians of the school, is to give positive support and assistance to ensure that the very high standards already achieved by the school are maintained and improved upon. Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor. Fund Raising Committee
Our Governors formed a Committee to review fundraising iniatives in order to raise the 10% funding required for the new building in Key Stage 2. This continued for Key Stage 1 and in 2012 for the new school Kitchen.
How you can help us!
The Committee also compiles a 'List of Contacts' that could help us:
- Do you know anyone famous?
- Could you offer a raffle prize?
- Do you have a skill/profession/talent that you could offer? eg. teaching music, dancing, driving lessons, hairdressing, car mechanics, cooking, babysitting, gardening, ironing, baking a cake, literally anything!
- Do you have any access to funding through charitable groups, employers, personal contacts, that might help our school?
We may be able to utilise this information for additional fundraising at a later date.
If you think you can help in any way, please contact the school office. There is a form available to fill in and return "for the attention of the Governors' Fundraising Committee".
