Year 3
Miss Kelly is the Class Teachers in Year 3. She is supported by Mrs Reeves, Mrs Cheesbrough and Miss Pursey, experienced Teaching Assistants who work very closely with the children in Year 3 supporting all areas of learning, especially reading, numeracy and literacy.
During Year 3 the Catholic children will receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Miss Kelly will take a lead on this work with the children.
Pupils in Year 3 will have many opportunities and will enjoy sports and PE, computing, art and design, cooking, music and singing, and will perform in productions and assemblies throughout the year. Pupils also have the opportunity to take swimming lessons, can learn to play an instrument and join the school choir.
It is vitally important that the children are taught to keep themselves safe in all circumstances. Please click on the links below to see when and how our children will be taught about Safeguarding through the curriculum.
Please take a look at the class Curriculum Guides for more detailed information on what we will be learning about each term.
